"Lay of the Land" - 2010 Ft Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport, Public Art & Design, Broward County Cultural Division "Lay of the Land" a series of tile inlays illustrating South Florida's expansive and distinctive ecosystems from a bird's eye view. The installation reflects the constantly changing pattern and structure of the sawgrass prairies, braided wetlands, and coastal estuaries. The airport visitors' experience is enlivened as they walk through the 22 entry vestibules onto the mosaic welcome mats at both Upper and Lower Levels of the Airport's Terminal's 2, 3 & 4.
